Upgrade your property with our Solar Single Swing Gate Opener Kit, purpose-built for single swing gates ranging from 1.6m to 4.2m in length or up to 350kg in weight*. This heavy-duty system is perfect for rural, residential, or off-grid applications, offering a reliable, weather-resistant solution where mains power isn’t available.

At the heart of the kit is a large, heavy-duty low-geared ram with a stainless steel design, complete with post and painted galvanised gate mounting hardware—built for strength, longevity, and smooth operation. The included control box features an advanced control board with the latest software updates and a pre-installed solar regulator for simple setup.

Power is supplied by an upgraded 25W solar panel and two 12V deep cycle sealed lead acid batteries, providing consistent performance with no connection to the grid required. A manual release system with key (lift-off style) ensures access during power outages or maintenance.

NOTE: 350kg gate weight limit is based on a well-balanced 2.5m gate with roller bearing hinges. For longer gates, the maximum weight will be lower.

For enclosed gates (e.g. Colorbond), a gate lock accessory is recommended to prevent wind interference. Max size for enclosed gates: 3m length / 4.5m² area (inward swing).
